การกลับบ้าน เป็นเป้าหมายของคนรุ่นใหม่จำนวนมากที่ต้องจากถิ่นฐานไปอยู่ที่อื่น แต่จะทำอย่างไรเมื่อความเหลื่อมล้ำทำให้โอกาสไม่ได้ถูกกระจายสู่ชนบท ทำอย่างไรการกลับบ้านจึงจะสามารถนำพาโอกาสใหม่ๆ ไปสู่ชนบทด้วย

   พรพิมล หรือ หมิว เกิดและเติบโตที่บ้านหนองส่าน หมู่บ้านเล็กๆ ในอำเภอภูพาน จ.สกลนคร เธอสำเร็จการศึกษาด้านโบราณคดี สาขาประวัติศาสตร์ศิลปะในกรุงเทพฯ เมื่อเธอเรียนจบแล้วก็ทำงานในเมืองใหญ่เหมือนเช่นเพื่อนคนอื่นๆ แต่ในที่สุดเธอก็เลือกที่จะกลับบ้าน เพื่อฟื้นชีวิตให้ชุมชนที่มีแต่เด็กและคนแก่กลับมาคึกคักขึ้นอีกครั้งด้วยการท่องเที่ยวชุมชน ปัจจุบัน หมิวทำงานเป็นนักพัฒนาธุรกิจชุมชน ให้กับบริษัทประชารัฐสกลนคร (วิสาหกิจเพื่อสังคม) และดูแลกลุ่มท่องเที่ยวโดยชุมชนบ้านหนองส่าน
